Appropriate employment of energy efficiency solutions in conjunction with solar installations increases the overall return on your solar investment. DRI is an approved installer of multiple energy-efficient roofing solutions.  Annual air-conditioning savings of switching from a standard asphalt roof to a white reflective roof are estimated at 7.2 cents per square foot - that's $7,200 every year for a 100,000 square foot roof.  View the study by Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (LBNL).  Energy Star Cool Roofs are also California Title 24 compliant.

 

Natural lighting increases worker productivity and reduces light usage.  The benefits from daylighting are maximized when both occupancy and lighting sensors are used to control the electric lighting system.  Modern prismatic skylights can replace electric lighting 70 to 80% of the daylight hours while producing much less heat than electric lighting.
